On February 10, 2023 a jury convicted several men on drug trafficking charges involving cocaine and heroin in Charlotte, NC. Jonathan Potts, 28, Jerry Bailey, 46, and Dale King, 34, were all sentenced to prison.

Jonathan was criminally tried for trafficking in cocaine by possession and trafficking in cocaine by transportation. The jury found him guilty as charged. Jonathan also pled guilty to an unrelated charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Judge Strickland sentenced Jonathan to 35-51 months in prison.
Jerry pled guilty as charged to trafficking in heroin by possession, trafficking in heroin by transportation, possession with the intent to sell or deliver cocaine, possession with the intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a schedule III controlled substance.

Judge Eady-Williams sentenced Jerry to 70-93 months in prison and ordered him to pay the mandatory fine of $50,000.
Dale pled guilty to trafficking in heroin by transportation. Judge Eady-Williams sentenced him to 70-93 months in prison and ordered him to pay the mandatory fine of $50,000.
