Video: 3-year-old Legend Crowe sustained massive face and head injuries after being attacked at daycare, the staff waited to call parents and hid video footage
In August 2026 a 3-year-old child named Legend Crowe was seriously injured at McGill Learning Center in Concord, NC. The child had significant facial injures. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Cashay Crowe is the mother of the victim. The child was enrolled at Mcgill Learning Center. The child was at the daycare center for child care.

While at the daycare the child sustained facial injuries including 2 black eyes and a swollen head. The daycare says the child was pushed to the ground by another kid.

Bruises, 2 black eyes, swollen eyes, and a swollen head were seen on Legend. Instead of calling Cashay, the daycare waited 5 hours after the incident to call the mother, citing they dont call parents until bruising or swelling appears on a child. It does not take hours for bruises and swelling to occur on the human body after physical trauma.

When Cashay was notified, she came to the daycare to see the video footage but employees from the Mcgill Learning Center edited the footage as it shows Legend walking across an empty room and then the video skips to Legend being on the floor.
Legend had to go to 2 hospitals after the daycare beating. Concord Police confirm there have been two other child abuse reports involving the Mcgill Learning Center since 2024, one of which led to a child abuse charge.
Little Legend is traumatized from the physical abuse he sustained and he refuses to go back to Mcgill Learning Center or any daycare for that matter. Click on the tags below for similar articles.
