On February 14, 2023 seven illegal immigrants were referred to Border Patrol after a high-speed pursuit in Hidalgo County, Texas.
The pursuit took place on US-83. The driver was an 15-year-old illegal immigrant who refused to stop for Border Patrol officers, there were 7 people total in the vehicle.
The suspects were from Mexico. The suspect vehicle is seen driving on a dirt road. Once near a wooded area, the vehicle stops and 7 people are seen bailing out on foot.
The suspects were eventually arrested and charged with human smuggling and evading arrest.
