Chavion Smith, 20, was murdered on October 4, 2023 in Atlanta, GA. Chavion played football with the University of North Carolina Charlotte coming out of Statesville High School.
Chavion was stabbed to death in Atlanta at 10:50 p.m. Blood filled the street and paramedics were called.
Chavion was stabbed several times and he had lacerations on his face and on his torso. An ambulance took Chavion to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made. Chavion was a star running back in high school, as he was recruited by several colleges. Chavion decided to go to UNC Charlotte and play on the football team.
