The 2026 midterm election results are in. Democrats have just took back the U.S. House of Representative and the U.S. Senate. Roy Cooper won the U.S. Senate seat. Democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms won the Georgia governor race on Tuesday November 3, 2026, making her the first black female Governor in Georgia, Keisha is also the first black female governor in the United States of America. Most surprisingly Texas voted for a democratic senator James Talarico for the first time in a long time. Texas has been flagged has a very racist state. Democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms won the Georgia governor’s race. She beat multi billionaire Rick Jackson. Keisha becomes the first black woman to be the governor of Georgia and the first black woman to be a governor in the United States of America. Kamala Harris made history in 2020 by becoming the first black person and first woman Vice President of The United States. Keisha use to be the mayor of Atlanta until she quit to take a role at the White House.
Texas is a very racist state and they always vote republican, but the ranks have been broken as democrat James Talarico won the senate seat in Texas.
Also shockingly South Carolina elected democrat Dr. Annie Andrews beating Darlene Graham. Annie is a pediatrician doctor. South Carolina has not voted for a democratic senator in over 25 years.
Most notably Roy Cooper won the U.S. Senate seat in North Carolina beating Donald Trump supporter Michael Whatley. U.S. citizens voted democratic during this election because many people are tired of Donald Trump and the high gas prices along with other prices, coupled with the fact that Trump is a convicted felon and has difficulty getting along with people.
Hakeem Jeffries is set to become the house majority speaker sine the democrats took over the house and senate.
