Matthew was at the bar having drinks in August 2025. An argument started between Matthew and other customers, which then led to a fist fight. Matthew got hit in the face and was very angry. Security kicked Matthew out of the bar.
Matthew went to his car and got a machete knife. Matthew reentered the bar moments later and slashed the customer in the hand that he was in a fight with.
The man’s hand started bleeding profusely. Another customer was cut in the leg by the machete. Several customers then pounded on Matthew to get him down, he was hit in the face again while being subdued.
Cops were called and a bloody mess was all around the bar, and several people were covered in blood. Cops found brass knuckles and a machete on scene.
Matthew was arrested on scene charged with attempted murder. Matthew also had to be hospitalized for the injuries to his face, which required surgeries.
In 2026 Matthew pled guilty to assault with deadly weapon serious injury.
