17-year-old Jorden Wood was shot and killed during a violent homicide at the Longhorn Steakhouse restaurant on 8115 Mallard Creek Rd. Charlotte, NC. Jorden’s murder was on March 1, 2024.
Jorden died on the scene. Several customers were in the Longhorn Steakhouse enjoying their steak dinners when they were rudely interrupted by gunfire.As a safety precaution the Longhorn Steakhouse was evacuated and closed for the night.
A shooting occurred at the same Longhorn Steakhouse in the past, a Facebook post shows George Rivens shot a man in both legs at the restaurant in 2017.
