LATINO MAN MURDERED IN SHOOTING ON ALBEMARLE ROAD, 7 MURDERED IN ONE WEEK

7 people have been murdered in Charlotte within week

Luis Daniel Gutierrez Mora, 31, died in a shooting that occurred on March 22, 2026 on Albemarle Road Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Shortly after 2 a.m., officers responded to a shots fired call on Albemarle Road near Central Ave. Upon arrival, officers discovered Luis shot with life threatening injuries.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT ARRESTED AFTER LATINO MAN MURDERED ON CENTRAL AVE.

Luis was transported to a local hospital. However, on Tuesday March 24th Luis succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

This is the 7th murder within a week or so in Charlotte, see below of links to the other homicides this week.
