The lesbian latina couple had just got engaged in sign language, but Evelin broke things off and the ex-girlfriend signed off on murder, killing her ex-girlfriend
Lhis Birito Costa, 23, and Evelin Carolina Enamorado-Cisnado, 26, were in a homosexual relationship, they had just got engaged recently. Evelin was murdered on March 10, 2026 at apartments on Central Ave. Charlotte, NC. Lhis is accused of murdering her. It appears the women may of been deaf. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Evelin and Lhis were in a girlfriend to girlfriend relationship for years. They both spoke sign language, Evelin wrote in broken English a lot, so it appears both women may of been deaf.
The couple got engaged in December 2025 with Lhis playing the ‘man’ on bended knee, they spoke in sign language during the proposal. In March 2026 Evelin decided to end the relationship and break up with Lhis.
Evelin’s dead body was wrapped in towels and blankets and thrown in a closet. Evelin was in the apartment dead for days. The smell of a dead body began to spread and residents called apartment staff.
The police were called and a master key was used to enter Evelin’s apartment unit, it was then that Evelin was fond dead.
On March 11, 2026 officers located and arrested Lhis in connection with this case. Lhis was charged with murder. Lhis is an illegal immigrant and ICE lodged a immigration detainer on her following her arrest. Immigration officials were just in Charlotte arresting latino people randomly assuming they were illegal immigrants.
