After murdering her girlfriend, Dashae said on facebook, “I wanted to love this hoe, now I’m in jail”
On April 16, 2025 Dashae McCain, 26, pled guilty to murdering her girlfriend Aviana Carter, 21, in Charlotte, NC during a heated exchange. The two women were in a homosexual intimate relationship. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

On June 22, 2020 Aviana and Dashae got into an argument at a residence on Montague Street in Charlotte. Around the afternoon time the argument turned physical and Dashae shot Aviana dead.
EMS arrived on scene, but Aviana was pronounced deceased. Cops arrested Dashae charging her with murder.
While at the police station, Dashae got on Facebook and made the following post in the interrogation room,
“All I wanted to DO was love this hoe…. now I’m sitting in the police department”
It took 5 years for this case to make it to trial, many continuances were issued. Dashae finally decided to plead guilty to second degree murder. Judge Archie sentenced her to 125-162 months in prison.
