The female victim sustained double trouble as she was shot in stomach while pregnant with twins in Charlotte
Cykario Hairston, 22, was arrested on April 1, 2025 in Charlotte, NC accused of shooting a pregnant woman with twins in the stomach. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The alleged encounter was on March 30, 2025 at an apartment complex in Charlotte. Cykario was in a dating relationship with Jadeah Bennett. An argument began and Cykario is accused of shooting Jadeah in her stomach while she was pregnant with twins.
Jadeah is 13 weeks pregnant with the twins. The suspect fled the scene. Jadeah called 911 and EMS rushed her to the hospital for emergency surgery. It is unknown if the twin babies will survive, or if they will be disabled in life due to the alleged shooting.
Jadeah was in critical condition. A day later Cykario was arrested charged with assault with deadly weapon, assault on pregnant woman, and domestic violence. Pregnant women sustain a lot of violence, see articles here.
