Watch as suspects threw large wood at police and drive on wrong side of highway
A police chase led to a wrong way crash and wood piles being thrown at police on Interstate 75 in Montgomery County, Ohio on June 5, 2025.
Suspects were in a stolen truck. A patrol officer attempted a traffic stop on the truck, but the suspects refused to stop. The high speed chase led to a suspect in the bed of the truck begin to throw large wood pieces onto the highway to obstruct police vehicles.

The wood was tied onto the back of the truck. The truck is then seen driving on the wrong side of the highway in efforts to make cops call off the chase. High speed chases can be very dangerous.
The truck then crashes head on into oncoming vehicles in a multi-car pile up.
The suspects run out of the truck and down a hill off the highway. The suspects split up and some run into the woods, while others run into fields and warehouse property.
After a few minutes, the police helicopter was able to use heat signal cameras to catch the suspects.
