Corey Ruffin died yesterday, he attended Wintson Salem State University
Corey Ruffin, 47, died on May 14, 2025 in Mecklenburg County at Levine & Dickson Hospice House. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Corey had been sick for some time, likely some form of cancer, but his exact medical case is not known.
Corey was then admitted into hospice due to his medical condition. Corey then died at the hospice facility. He was still able to give last talks to his many friends and family.
Corey was married with a wife, he also had kids. Corey was popular in the community as he is an alumni of Winston Salem State University, which is deemed as a historically black college & university.
Corey attended many parties and gatherings in college, as seen in some of the memories he shared.
Corey’s wife Anya is in the Delta sorority. Fraternities and sororities are popular on Charlotte Alerts News.
