On April 11, 2023 Ethel Steele, 40, murdered her 3 kids and then killed herself in Winston Salem, NC. The kids are identified as Sakendra Steele, 9, Sakenya Steele, 12, and Sakenlo Steele, 14.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at a home on Brookhill Drive around 11:54 a.m.
Cops entered the home and found Ethel and her 3 kids dead from gunshot wounds to the head. Investigators say Ethel shot her 3 kids dead.
Ethel then shot and killed herself.
The kids were home schooled. The family had just got back from a Florida vacation.
Ethel has a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Winston-Salem State University, a bachelor of arts from Johnson C. Smith University, and two certificates of completion from Forsyth Technical Community College for completing the Paralegal Technology Litigation and Family Law curricula.
Ethel worked as a nurse with Novant Health and as a traveling nurse.
