Sephora was nearly ransacked during a shoplifting heist
Mercedez Mccullers, 24, and Deja Davis, 21, were arrested in October 2024 accused of stealing from a Sephora store located at 16835 Birkdale Commons Pkwy Huntersville, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
In the summer of 2024 Deja, Mercedez, and a third unidentified woman are accused of entering the Sephora store and placing several items in bags.
Some of the items included various perfume sets, clothes, purses, and makeup items. The women are then accused of passing all points of sale without paying for the merchandise.
The suspects left the Sephora business and got into a waiting vehicle. The total loss during this incident was $1,478.
A loss prevention security guard from Sephora called police and advised she has worked a lot of retail loss prevention in the Charlotte and Lake Norman area and the two female suspects are well known to the circle of loss prevention professionals in the area.
