A Brinks Armored Truck robbery occurred in a Chase Bank parking lot in August 2024 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Surveillance video shows a Brinks armored truck guard picking up cash from the Chase Bank at 9 a.m. As the Brinks guard approaches the Brinks armored truck, a suspect watching in the distance is seen driving up to the guard.
The lone suspect dressed in a construction vest and covered clothing gets out of the vehicle and pepper sprays the guard in the face. The guard drops the cash drawers full of cash.
The suspect then takes the money, and then reaches in the armored truck and takes more money.
The suspect then takes the other money crates that are on the ground. The total cash taken was $1 million.
The suspect then drives off in the black vehicle. The armored guard then quickly gets in the armored truck and calls police. No arrests have been made.
Brinks trucks and Ulta Beauty robberies occur often. Ulta Beauty employees are not allowed to stop suspects from stealing.
Brinks armored trucks appear to be easy targets too because they get robbed a lot. In fact video shows a Brinks truck getting robbed at a Quik Trip gas station in Charlotte.
