Bobby Valentine, 30, and Kaionta Dabney, 26, were arrested on March 14, 2023 accused of shooting a man almost to the point of death and taking his red Camaro at apartments in Charlotte, NC.
The male victim was shot on January 22, 2023 as he was getting out of his red Camaro at an apartment parking lot near the intersection of WT Harris and Albemarle Road.
2 men ran up to the victim and shot him multiple times, the gunmen tried to shoot the victim more, but their guns jammed.
The suspects fled after they took a bag, cash, and a red Camaro, all belonging to the victim. Residents at the apartment complex called 911. The victim laid in a pool of blood fighting for life.
Paramedics arrived and provided emergency care to the victim. The victim was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery. The victim was released from the hospital, but he now must use an ostomy bag in his stomach to urinate and defecate.
We don’t know if the ostomy bag is permanent or temporary for the victim.
Bobby and Kaionta were arrested and charged in relation to shooting the man. Specifically they were charged with attempted murder, robbery, and possession of firearm by felon.
