CHARLOTTE MEN ARRESTED ACCUSED OF ARMORED TRUCK ROBBERY, GUARD KILLED

4 men have been arrested after Loomis Armored Truck guard Richard Henderson, 29, was murdered on the job during an armored truck robbery. The arrests were made on November 27, 2024 right before Thanksgiving. The suspects are Dominick Singleton, 38, Jamal Cunningham, 29, Malek Thomas, 28, and Damareon Dockery, 20. The actual armored truck robbery was on October 30, 2024 at a strip mall in Kings Mountain, NC. Richard lived in Charlotte, NC.

Richard was loading an ATM at the strip mall when a black SUV pulled up to him and snatched cash from his deposit bags. One of the suspects then shot and killed Richard on the spot.

The suspect vehicle then fled the scene at a high rate of speed. Witnesses heard the shots and called police.

EMS arrived and Richard was pronounced deceased on scene. In the early morning hours of November 27, 2024, the FBI and police arrested Dominick, Jamal, Malek, and Damareon at their homes. Malek lives in Charlotte.

All suspects have been arrested and charged with murder and attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.
