BRINKS ARMORED TRUCK ROBBED IN CHARLOTTE, $27,000 STOLEN

On December 21, 2023 a Brinks armored truck was robbed in broad daylight at a Fifth Third Bank on Sharon Amity Road Charlotte, NC days before the Christmas holiday.

The male Brinks worker was taking cash to the Fifth Third Bank at noon. A suspect then approached the victim with a gun and demanded money.

The suspect snatched the cash bags out of the employees hands. The suspect then made the employee get down on the ground. The suspect then ran off into the woods.

$27,000 cash was in the money bags. The victim was not injured. The suspect has not been caught. The FBI investigates every bank robbery and armored truck robbery. 

$100,000 in cash fell off of an Garda World armored truck in Charlotte
