77-year-old Eleanor Bowles was stabbed to death in a violent murder at her home in Buckhead, GA. Eleanor was murdered on December 10, 2022.
Eleanor was found dead in her garage within a gated community on Paces West Terrace, around 5:30 p.m. on December 10th.
Around 11:30 a.m. Eleanor was inside her home when a person attempted to steal her 2021 Lexus RS350 SUV. Eleanor went in her opened garage and yelled at the thief to leave, the suspect then stabbed Eleanor to death in her garage.
The suspect then drove off in Eleanor’s SUV. Eleanor lay dead in her garage for hours. It was not until her son came to visit her for the holidays that she was found dead. The victim had multiple lacerations.
Eleanor’s vehicle was tracked to Dekalb County, but the vehicle was empty when police approached it. No arrests have been made.
