On August 13, 2022 a male victim identified as Catoine Funderburk, 27, was shot and killed on Sumter Avenue Charlotte, NC. The victim was a father that had a young child.
Shortly before 2 a.m., officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon with injury call on Sumter Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Medic arrived and pronounced the victim deceased on scene.
