Video: A fatal shooting killed a waiter at a restaurant as the victim was serving a customer
Hilbert Walker was murdered at Mandina’s Restaurant in New Orleans where he worked as a waiter. In August 2026 Kyron Fazande was arrested accused of murdering Hilbert.
Hilbert was murdered on the job in May 2023. Hilbert was working at Mandina’s Restaurant serving a customer. A suspect wearing all black and a mask came up to Hilbert and shot him dead.
The customer was knocked down from the impact. Another waiter was injured off of camera. 3 years later the suspect was arrested in Houston, TX charged with murder.
