MicahJo Barnett played running back on the football team of William Jewell College, he died during a game after scoring touchdown

MicahJo Barnett, 20, plays football at William Jewell College, MicahJo died during a football game after scoring a touchdown on August 29, 2026 in Missouri. MicahJo played the running back position. William Jewell College is a Division II school.

MicahJo scored a goal line touchdown for his team during a game on August 29th against Fort Lewis College. After the touchdown MicahJo went to the sideline and collapsed.

FORMER COLLEGE BASKETBALL PLAYER MURDERED IN STREET BALL GAME

Paramedics came in and took him to an ambulance on a gurney. MicahJo died within minutes. It appears MicahJo had a medical emergency.
The game was suspended after he died.
