MOTHER KILLED IN MOTEL, HER BOYFRIEND PLEADS GUILTY TO MANSLAUGHTER

In December 2024 Terry Stephens, 44, pled guilty to manslaughter in relation to the death of his girlfriend Porsche Lloyd, 30, in Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram. Porsche was a mother and leaves behind loving family and friends.

Porsche was killed on April 24, 2021 at 3:52 a.m. at a hotel on Yorkmont Road Charlotte, NC.

Porsche was found unresponsive in a hotel room. Paramedics, officers, and fire department personnel attempted medical treatment on Porsche, however she was pronounced deceased on scene.

Upon further investigation and in consultation with the Mecklenburg County Medical Examiner’s Office, Porsche’s death was classified as a homicide.

A suspect killed his girlfriend and his own mother, and then killed himself

Terry was arrested on the same day of the death and charged with Porsche’s murder. But in a December 2024 plea deal, Terry pled guilty to manslaughter and was only given 72 to 99 months in prison with credit for time served.
