New medical findings show how Taisha McCleary, 45, died in Charlotte, NC. Taisha died from a fentanyl, methamphetamine, carfentanil, and oxycodone drug overdose on January 2, 2024. Taisha’s family member Quandarro McCleary was murdered in a shooting in Charlotte back in 2019. Carfentanil is used as a tranquilizing agent for elephants and other large mammals.

Taisha was found dead on the floor of her garage. There were recent episodes of domestic violence, Taisha had blunt force injuries. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.
Taisha had abrasions on her central forehead, ear, hand, and legs. She also had a contusion on her right hand. It was determined that Taisha had deadly amounts of carfentanil, fentanyl, oxycodone, and methamphetamine in her blood stream.

All of which caused her untimely and unexpected death. Taisha’s official cause of death was drug toxicity overdose due to the mentioned drugs.

Carfentanil is a synthetic opioid approximately 10,000 times more potent than morphine and 100 times more potent than fentanyl. The presence of carfentanil in illicit U.S. drug markets is cause for concern, as the relative strength of this drug could lead to an increase in overdoses and overdose related deaths.
