In September 2026 11-year-old twins King Lanclos and Sire Lanclos are seen on video being forced to do a brutal exercise regiment by a bus driver at West Craven Middle School in North Carolina. Now the school district could be forced to shell out millions of dollars in a lawsuit if the parents file in time. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Joaquin Lanclos is the father of the victims, his kids attend West Craven Middle School. During the first week of school the twins were on the bus when panties were being thrown around, someone threw the underwear on one of the twin’s head and the twin threw it off and began shouting.
The bus driver saw the twin talking and thought the twin started the panties ordeal, but the twin was the victim and did not initiate the panties dropping.
The bus driver then drove the bus all the way back to West Craven Middle School and went to the back of the school out of sight of cameras and the principal.
The bus driver made the twins get off the bus and do a combined exercise regiment of pushups and jumping jacks. The bus driver is heard saying:
That is what happens when you are a twin, a sibling can do the wrong thing, and you get caught up in it too. I told yall I dont write anyone up unless I have too. But you not gonna get here and act a fool either.
The bus driver continually barks commands at the twins for them to change exercises during the regiments. The boys got home and told their parents about the situation. The kids went to the doctor the next day due to soreness and mental anguish from the incident.
The Craven County school system issued a statement after the encounter:
Student safety is one of the top priorities of Craven County Schools. The district is aware of an incident in which two students were directed to exit a school bus and perform physical exercises in response to their behavior. This action does not align with district expectations for managing student behavior.
The bus driver was later fired from his driving position with the school system. This is a criminal offense of child abuse, but it is unclear if criminal charges will be filed on the bus driver.
The parents of the twins can now sue the Craven County school system for millions of dollars due to this incident, especially since it was caught on video and the claims can not be denied.
