Video caught the moments of a deadly shootout at a west Charlotte gas station. Gregory Dowana, 29, is charged with the murder of Desmon Thompson, 34. It all transpired at an Amoco gas station on February 8, 2025 on Freedom Drive Charlotte, NC.
Gregory and Desmon had previous arguments with each other regarding a woman. On February 8th the men saw each other at a gas station and began shooting at each other at 6 p.m. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.
Video shows an AK-47 murder at a Citgo gas station
The video shows both men firing shots inside the Amoco gas station. Kids in the business ran to the bathrooms for cover. Employees at the Amoco are also seen running away.
Desmon was shot multiple times during the shootout. Desmon’s friends drove him to a nearby hospital. Desmon later died at the hospital during emergency procedures.Gregory was arrested on February 8, 2025 charged with murder. Desmon was a local rapper with online music videos.
