ARREST MADE AFTER FATHER MURDERED AT GAS STATION

Gregory Dowana, 29, is charged with the murder of Desmon Thompson, 34. The victim was shot and killed on February 8, 2025 at a gas station on Freedom Drive Charlotte, NC. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.

The men were in a dispute over a female. Desmon was shot around 6 p.m. at a gas station.

Desmon’s friends drove him to a nearby hospital, speeding down the road. Desmon later died at the hospital during emergency procedures.

Gregory was arrested on February 8, 2025 charged with murder. Desmon was a local rapper with online music videos. Desmon was a father with 2 kids.
