Watch video of Justin Timberlake drunk driving and unsteady on his feet, he could not even explain his ‘World Tour’ to cops. His singing and dancing could not keep him out of jail
Newly released video footage shows pop star Justin Timberlake being arrested for DWI in the wealthy Hamptons area in New York. Justin struggled to perform field sobriety tests and clearly failed them. Justin is famous for his singing and dance moves.
Justin was arrested in September 2024 when the DWI occurred, but the video footage was just released this week. Justin Timberlake was on world tour in New York, after a concert he got a BMW rental SUV and was following friends home from a after party. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Justin had multiple drinks prior and was drunk, swerving in lanes and not stopping for stop signs. A cop was behind Justin and pulled him over after seeing the questionable driving.
The cop asked Justin a series of questions. Justin said he was in a rental car and that he was on world tour. The cop asked him what is a world tour, and Justin replied, “World tour, it is hard to explain, I am Justin Timberlake.”
The cop asked in shock, “you are Justin Timberlake?” The officer asks him for identification and the video jump cuts to Justin doing drunk tests on the street.
Justin was doing the straight line walk and turn test, which he failed and stumbled on. Justin also took the stand on one leg test which he was unbalanced in.
Justin failed miserably on a few other tests too. The cop then brings over a breathalyzer and Justin says “nah” meaning he refused to take the breathalyzer.
Justin was then arrested charged with DWI. A member of Justin’s team pleads with cops to let Justin go if they like his songs ‘Sexy back’ or ‘Bye Bye Bye’.
The team member then says
“You cant put him in jail, there has to be a moment of talking.”
None of that persuaded cops to let Justin go, instead he was taken to county jail with the big boys and thrown in a jail cell for the night.
Justin ultimately pleaded guilty to impaired driving. He agreed to give a public safety announcement against the perils of drunken driving as part of the plea deal. Justin Timberlake also had to pay a $500 fine, do 25 hours of community service, and have a 90-day driver’s license suspension.
