The Chuck E. Cheese mascot was arrested on July 24, 2025 on Sharer Road Tallahassee, FL. Chuck E. Cheese was accused of stealing a customers credit card and eating cheeseburgers at Whataburger, and buying smoke shop products with the stolen card. The suspect in the mascot uniform is identified as Jermell Jones.
A woman came to the Chuck E. Cheese location earlier in the summer. She lost her credit card while having fun with kids and family, playing games.
Jermell dressed as Chuck E. Cheese is accused of picking up the woman’s credit card and using it at several businesses including buying cheese burgers at Whataburger, smoke shops, and meat markets.
The woman’s credit card company alerted her about fraudulent charges on her card. The woman contacted cops and video surveillance from the businesses was seen during the investigation.
The suspect Jermell AKA Chuck E. Cheese was allegedly seen on video using the credit card. Police then went to the Chuck E. Cheese location and arrested Chuck E. Cheese while Jermell was in uniform.
Chuck E. Cheese was placed in handcuffs in front of terrified kids. Chuck E. Cheese was placed in the back of the police car charged with credit card theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, and criminal use of false identification.
