31-year-old Tyler Jacobs was killed by police in a shooting at an Arbys restaurant in Shelby, Ohio on December 7, 2024. Tyler was an employee at the Arbys and he stabbed a cop in the neck prior to the shooting.
Sgt. Noah Kocher was at the Arbys to serve an arrest warrant on Tyler. The sergeant enters the restaurant and asks for the suspect.
Tyler then approaches and the officer informs him of the warrant. Tyler then stabs a knife into the neck of the officer.
The officer runs and Tyler approaches again, but Sgt. Kocher shoots him multiple times killing him.
The stabbing caused extensive bleeding from Sgt. Kocher’s neck.
