WOMAN MURDERED IN WEST CHARLOTTE

A woman was shot and killed on February 13, 2022 in west Charlotte, NC. The woman was shot at a home.

Near 7 a.m. officers responded to a check the welfare 911 call at a home on Swan Drive. Upon arrival officers located a female victim with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene by medic.

There is no word as to the circumstances, but the investigation is ongoing.

An on duty City of Charlotte bus driver was shot in the head and killed while driving a bus in uptown Charlotte on February 11, 2022. The bus driver is identified as 41-year-old Ethan Rivera.
