New results show that 18-year-old Barron Alexander committed suicide, he shot himself in the head on April 16, 2023 at a home on Suttonview Dr. Charlotte, NC. Barron was a basketball player.
Autopsy findings state Barron had a breakup with a female he was in a relationship with, text messages from Barron showed suicidal ideations.
Barron was taken to the hospital, but he lost pulses 17 minutes prior to arrival, ACLS protocols were initiated.
On arrival to the hospital cardiac ultrasound revealed no cardiac activity, so resuscitative efforts were abandoned.
A handgun was recovered with suspected blow back. 11 discharged shell casings were found and collected within the street where Barron killed himself.
Barron attended Myers Park High School, he was a senior and only months away from graduation.
