2 teenagers are going to prison for murdering people in Charlotte, one victim Howard Page wore a weave and crocs
On August 8, 2025 Tyler Burris, 18, pled guilty to the second degree murder of Howard Page, 35, at a cheap Budget Inn motel near West Sugar Creek, Andre Poole, 26, was charged in the same murder and he is still awaiting trial. Also on August 8, 2025 Zariyon Burris, 18, pled guilty to second degree murder.

Howard was wearing a dress and wig when he was murdered at the Budget Inn motel located at 4330 Old Interstate Road. The area is high crime known for drugs and prostitution.

Tyler and Andre were accused of driving to the Budget Inn to meet Howard. As Howard was walking outside, Tyler pointed a gun at him and tried to rob him. Howard used his manly strength and ran away.
Tyler shot Howard in the head and butt. Tyler then took Howard’s keys and drove away in the victim’s Dodge Challenger. Andre is accused of driving a separate Honda vehicle to get away. Howard was taken via ambulance to the hospital where he died.
Tyler was arrested on July 19, 2024 charged with murder, he admitted to shooting and killing Howard. Tyler pled guilty in August 2025 and was given 192-243 months in prison.

Andre is still awaiting trial and has not been sentenced, it is believed he is pleading not guilty since he was not the trigger man and it can not be proved he was at the scene.
In August 2025 Zariyon pled guilty to second degree murder from a homicide that occurred on February 15, 2024. Judge Kuehnert sentenced him to 94-125 months in prison, there were multiple murders on that day.
Zariyon was charged and pled guilty to murdering 24-year-old Jaziyah Joseph Haigbea-Boone at a gas station on Wilkinson Blvd.
