Teenager Amari Cooper was shot dead at a Halloween party during a fight
Amari Cooper, 17, was murdered at a Halloween party on Old Plank Road Charlotte, NC on November 1, 2025. Amari was a West Charlotte high School student. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
A fight began at the party and shots were fired. Party goers began to run, but Amari was shot by a stray bullet.
At 12:26 a.m., EMS arrived to the party. Amari was found shot in near fatal condition. Amari was transported to the hospital by ambulance where she was pronounced deceased.
There is no indication if Amari was involved in the large fight at West Charlotte High School on Halloween, video shows a cop body slamming a teen girl in the bus parking lot at the school.
A large number of West Charlotte High alumni have died this year.
