SUSPECT ARRESTED AFTER MAN MURDERED BEHIND STRIP MALL IN WOODS

30-year-old Marcos Antonio Perez Vasquez was arrested on October 30, 2025 accused of murdering 54-year-old Thomas Carter on Eastcrest Dr. Charlotte, NC.

MAN MURDERED BEHIND STRIP MALL IN WOODS
Marcos Antonio Perez Vasquez

On October 25, 2025 Thomas was shot and killed near Central Ave. At 4 p.m. Thomas’s body was found behind a strip mall in the woods. Thomas had been shot dead.

After an investigation, Marcos was arrested, charged with murder.
