A teenager was among the people killed in a mass shooting in North Carolina. Halloween party turns into a real life horror movie

A mass shooting occurred in North Carolina leaving 13 shot and 2 dead in Robeson County, NC on October 25, 2025. 49-year-old Jessie Locklear Jr. and 16-year-old Nehemiah Locklear were murdered in a shooting at a Halloween party.

Several hundred people were at the Halloween party on October 25th when at 1:15 a.m. shots were fired. 13 party attendees were shot. There was heavy liquor drinking at the party.

Jessie and Nehemiah were shot and they died at the scene. Several of the shot victims drove with friends to Scotland Health Care in Laurinburg and UNC Health Southeastern Medical Center in Lumberton.

No arrests have been made.
