Detectives with the Sexual Assault Unit have charged Tristian Gilmore, 29, with rape, forced sex offense, and kidnapping. Tristian is accused of raping a 23-year-old Asian woman on Halloween 2021 in Charlotte, NC.
The female victim was walking to her car after a Halloween party on October 31, 2021 around 5 a.m. on Ethel Guest Ln.
The suspect then kicked the woman out of his vehicle and drove off.
From evidence recovered, a DNA profile was obtained and allegedly matched to Tristian. As a result, warrants were obtained for his arrest.
On November 19, 2021, Tristian was arrested and charged with assault by pointing a firearm, communicating threats, assault on a female, 1st degree kidnapping, 1st degree sex offense, 1st degree rape, and possession of a firearm by felon.
