On April 18, 2024 Khyree Lewis, 24, was arrested charged with the homicide of Kedrick Brown, 25. The victim was murdered on Easter Sunday March 31, 2024 in Charlotte, NC.
A shootout broke out at a gas station on University Blvd. in the late afternoon on Easter Sunday. Kedrick was shot. The shooter then got in a vehicle and drove off. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram. 911 was called. Paramedics arrived and tried to provide aid to the victim, but he died on the scene.
Khyree was identified as a suspect, cops arrested him on April 18th and charged him with murder. Kedrick was a father and leaves behind a young child.
