A shooting erupted in uptown Charlotte, NC on June 5, 2023. The shooting was at a luxury high-rise apartment complex on West 5th Street.
At 8 a.m. a shootout began inside the apartments. One person was seriously hurt after being shot.
Paramedics responded to the scene and found one victim with a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.
