Leah Gomez, 22, was murdered on May 31, 2023 right in front of her 1-year-old baby girl in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
In the afternoon Leah was driving a vehicle with her baby in the car in downtown Grand Rapids.
An assailant approached Leah’s vehicle at a red light and began shooting, hitting Leah several times. The suspect fled.
Leah died on the scene with her baby girl crying and screaming.
First responders took the baby to the hospital to get checked out, but she wasn’t hurt.
Leah’s baby girl has special needs.
