A latino customer of the club was shot in the leg during an argument in the parking lot at 2 a.m. The victim began bleeding profusely. Patrons at the club called police.
The suspect got in a vehicle and sped off. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries to his leg. A black man was murdered at the Midnight Rodeo on Cinco De Mayo in 2024.
The ABC liquor license at Midnight Rodeo will likely be in jeopardy due to all the violence that has occurred at the club. 86-year-old Paul Scoggins is the listed owner of the Midnight Rodeo property along with the neighboring trailer park lot. Paul’s family members and others help run the club.
