A shooting just occurred at Carolina Place Mall, and this is not the first
On July 11, 2025 a shooting occurred at Carolina Place Mall in Pineville, NC. A victim was shot during a robbery. The victim was shot in the parking lot of the food court in the Barns and Noble area. Mall shootings have happened a lot in Charlotte.
A cop with the Pineville Police Department heard the shot and immediately responded to the area. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
The victim was robbed of cash. The suspects fled the scene. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. The officer provided life saving measures by placing a tourniquet on the leg area, controlling the bleeding.
Witnesses are being interviewed and security videos are being reviewed. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
