Teenager Kash Jenkins ran away from home, he was found dead hanging, several people have been hanged in city
Kash Jenkins, 16, committed suicide on October 13, 2025 in Charlotte, NC at the Hampton Crest Apartment complex on North Wendover Rd. Kash hanged himself dead.
On October 10, 2025 Kash ran away from his residence on North Wendover Rd. around 8 p.m. Kash was found a few days later and was brought back home.
On Oct. 13th police officers responded to a 911 suicide attempt call at the Hampton Crest Apartments. Kash had attempted to commit suicide by hanging himself. More suicides can be seen here.
When cops arrived, Kash was dead, nearly cold to the touch. The cause of death is asphyxiation by suicide. It is not known why Kash ran away from home or why he killed himself.
Kash attended Harding High School. Multiple people have been killed via hanging in Charlotte.
