The employee’s credit card was stolen, it was then used at Louis Vuitton and Forever Young Spa in South Park Mall allegedly by Aranelis Sabogal
Aranelis Sabogal, 40, was arrested on May 4, 2025 in Charlotte, NC accused of stealing the purse and credit cards of a Atrium Health hospital employee, and then using the credit cards on shopping sprees at luxury stores and spas in South Park Mall. Aranelis was a patient at Atrium Health Hospital.

On April 30, 2025 a female Atrium Health Hospital employee reported her wallet had been stolen from her place of work at 1350 South Kings Dr. Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

In her purse was several credit/debit cards. The victim reported a short time later that she received notifications that her Chase credit card had been used at the Louis Vuitton store
at South Park Mall on 4400 Sharon Rd. in the amount of $3,225.06.

The victim reported that her Truist debit card was also used at Forever Young Spa inside the same mall for $321.75.
The health employee then drove to Forever Young Spa and spoke with the manager. The manager showed her a video of the fraudulent transaction.
The female victim watched the video and immediately identified the person using her card allegedly as Aranelis Sabogal.

The victim advised shes knows Aranelis because she is a patient at the hospital, and
was in the office on the date of the card theft.
Police contacted Aranelis via telephone, the suspect allegedly admitted to cops that she stole the
victim’s wallet when the victim walked out of the hospital room, then took the credit and debit cards to
make purchases at Louis Vuitton and Forever Young Spa.
Police were dispatched to the home of Aranelis where she was arrested charged with financial transaction card theft and misdemeanor larceny.
