A victim was murdered on December 14, 2023 in a shootout at apartments on Apex Landing Way Charlotte, NC during the Christmas season. A double shooting and homicide resulted from the shootout, which was between teenagers.
The shootout started at the apartment complex at 11:30 p.m. One group of teenagers were in a vehicle, the other group of teens were on foot. The teens began shooting at each other.
2 people were shot. One of the victims died, the other received treatment at the hospital.
This is the second murder this week. Brandy Cox was murdered on December 12th in a double shooting.
