One victim died on July 19, 2024 in a crash late in the afternoon on I-77 in Charlotte, NC.
The crash was near the Sunset Road exit. The crash killed a motorist and injured several others. There is not a clear indication of how the wreck happened yet. Most of the lanes are closed and traffic is backed up for miles.
A major wreck just occurred on I-77 earlier this week also.
