A fatal crash killed one person on Interstate 485 today
On February 6, 2026 a victim was killed in a vehicular accident on I-485 in Charlotte, NC.
The wreck was around 7:20 a.m. near the Oakdale Road exit, according to the state Department of Transportation. Fatal crashes on I-485 are rather constant.
I-485 outer between Brookshire Boulevard and Oakdale Road were closed due to the crash. The victim died on impact.
