Beatrice Maxine Knights, 21, was murdered on April 22, 2023 during a quintuple shooting at Happy Hill Park in Winston Salem, NC. Beatrice leaves behind a infant daughter.
A large party was going on at the pavilion inside Happy Hill Park. At 8 p.m. a fight broke out and then multiple people began shooting into the crowd.
5 people were shot total, including Beatrice who died at the scene. 200 plus people were in attendance.
A 34-year-old woman was shot in the arm, leg, and abdomen. A 20-year-old woman was shot in the arm, a 24-year-old woman who was shot in the face, and a 30-year-old man was shot in the leg.
All the victims that were shot were taken to the hospital. No arrests have been made. Investigators are still working to learn what led to the fight.
