A little boy was killed by his own mother according to court prosecutors
On January 27, 2026 Diana Elizabeth Cullom, age 43, was arrested accused of murdering her 4-year-old son Finley Cullom in St. Petersburg, Florida.
On Jan 27th at 3:30 p.m., patrol officers responded to a home about a report of a person bleeding. A 16-year-old girl told them that when she got home from school, she found her mother Diana holding her 4-year-old brother Finley in a bed dead.
There was blood at the scene and throughout the house. The mother was transported to Bayfront Hospital due to multiple lacerations. Her injuries were not life threatening.
Diana was released from the hospital overnight and charged with 1st degree murder in the death of her 4-year-old son Finley.
Once the medical examiner examined the body, it was determined that there were no stab wounds on the child. The child had been suffocated. Diana had self inflicted stab wounds.
